Two dead in apparent domestic dispute (WA)

Two people were killed Sunday morning in what appeared to be a domestic dispute in an Alexandria apartment building, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at 375 South Reynolds Street just after 10 a.m. Sunday morning and found two victims when they arrived, said Jody Donaldson, an Alexandria police spokesman. Crime scene analysts and detectives were at the apartment building near Alexandria’s Landmark Mall on Sunday afternoon gathering evidence and looking for witnesses.

Donaldson said the slayings did not appear to be a murder-suicide, but police did not provide additional information about a potential suspect, saying it was too early in the investigation to do so.
