Scottsdale Father Charged with Sons’ Murders

PHOENIX – The Scottsdale father who shot and killed his two young sons and then tried to kill himself is back in court.

39-year-old Andre Leteve faced a judge Monday morning.  He was officially charged for both of the murders.

During Leteve’s arraignment, he entered in a not guilty plea.

A grand jury has already indicted Leteve on two counts of murder.  This is a capital case, which means he is eligible for the death penalty.

Police say Leteve and his wife were going through a divorce and custody battle right before the shooting happened.
